Welcome to the new home of Sarah’s Style Emporium!

I’m chuffed you’ve come to visit and hope that you’ll come back on a regular basis. After all, if you’ve been reading for four and a half years and you are not bored yet, I must be doing something right!

This new look is thanks to all of you – if it wasn’t for your support, friendship, telling your mates about me and wanting to work with me, I’d have had no reason to upgrade – and certainly not the capacity to make a living out of doing something I love – WRITING!

And so here we are. Sarah’s Style Emporium will still be a home to all things food, fashion and Melbourne, while sarahkempson.com allows me to have a professional front for all the amazing clients out there who are yet to meet me.

A quick (but massive!) thank you to Meagan Harding Photography for taking ace pictures of me, and Mat Fitzgerald at Split Strategy for making all the bits that make a website work, work. And for my fab new logo! To Sarah, Marissa and Carlie, for being the first ones to critique the new digs and for being fabulous friends, and to everyone who has recommended my work to someone over the past 18 months – thank you! To Sandi at Onya Magazine, thank you for letting me write for you in the first place and getting me started, and to everyone else who has read my words and liked them, loved them, laughed at them or been reminded of something, thanks to you too.

Finally, thank you to my parents, who were the first ones to ever read my blog and who always thought I’d be a writer (even when I was dabbling at Mitre 10) and to Breece, who gave me to the confidence to believe I could leave my 9 to 5 and still afford to buy shoes just doing what I love.
