One of the hubs of Melbourne fashion, QV is again coming to the party at LMFF with a series of lunchtime workshops designed to reveal all about the world of fashion and share a few tips and tricks at the same time.
As part of the cultural program, the workshops will run for 45mins from 1pm and best of all, they are FREE.
Photographer Woodrow Wilson will present on photography, Stylist Connel Chiang on developing personal style, trendhunter Kate Vandermeer on creating style and blogger Micah Gianneli on what it’s really like to work in fashion.
Connel is on at 1pm on Sunday, March 11, Micah on Friday March 16 and Kate on Friday March 23 – plenty of time to plan your workday around your fashion.
Grab some lunch and come down to hear about fashion from the inside.

Last week I attended the launch of Hanger Nation, a new website and mobile app created by The Block’s Shelley Craft.
The program hosts all the fashion you love in one place including Australia’s hottest designers.
You can check out videos of their latest collections, browse seasonal lookbooks and let the store locator guide you to the exact spot so you can find out exactly where to find that item you lust over.

Will Deague and Shelley CraftIt was my pleasure this weekend to attend a special screening of ‘Dressed for Summer 2012’ at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, where fab curator James Nolan hosted a number of local fashionistas and bloggers to celebrate the start of the fashion on film series for LMFF.
Mademoiselle Agnes at Paris Fashion Week
Having seen ‘Dressed for Summer 2011’, I couldn’t wait to watch the hilarious Mademoiselle Agnes document the catwalks of Paris and New York, with her unique take on fashion and style on the streets and in the tents.
She didn’t disappoint, with many a chuckle being heard through the cinema. This is an older clip but you get the idea. She is a hoot!
As part of LMFF, ACMI will be showing a selection of fashion films, a collection known as Click! Fashion Photographers on Film. The program includes such famed fashion snappers as Bill Cunningham, Brian Duffy and David Bailey imortalised through documentary and celluloid – the very medium that has made them famous.
Dressed for Summer 2012 can be seen as part of a double with Beaton by Bailey (3 screenings), Check the ACMI website for all the details on screenings and session times.
