A fashionably fabulous lady whom I had the pleasure of meeting last week, Catherine Harry from www.whattowear.com.au, sent me a message on Twitter, about how she received the “Kreativ Blogger” Award. In her message she let me know that she also gave it me too! This award is just beautiful but it comes with a few strings attached. The strings being that you have to tell people 7 things about yourself that they may not know and then give it to 7 other bloggers.
Now those are the sort of strings that I like!!! 🙂
So here are seven things that you wouldn’t necessarily know about me…
1. A very long time ago, I thought ‘Happy Pants’ were the height of fashion. I will always regret wearing them to a birthday party and the photographic evidence that is now available for future embarassement.
2. I was Valedictorian of my grade 6 and year 12 classes and am more than happy to get up in a room of 200+ people and give a presentation, but am terrified when I have to present to a small meeting room of less that 10 people.
3. I often purchase the same shoes in different colours and never wear any of them.
4. As a coeliac, I am meant to avoid foods with any wheat, oats, rye or barley, which all contain gluten, however I am partial to the odd lollie and will never say no to m and m’s – gluten content or not!
5. Both of my brothers and younger than me, and both of them are taller and skinnier. Genes suck.
6. Friends is my favourite TV show of all time. I have them all on DVD at my house, and second copies at our family beach house. I know most episodes by heart.
7. After receiving a great year 12 ENTER score, I was shocked when my name wasn’t published in the University offers in the Herald Sun and spent the day in tears thinking my life was over. My offer letter arrived mid afternoon – there was simply a publishing error, but it made me realise that you can’t pin all your hopes on one thing – you should always have a back up plan.
