Look at your city. Now look at Paris. Now back at your city. Now back at Paris.
Sadly, your city isn’t Paris, but it could be if it had things like magic in the air, romance and amazing food.
I’m back on home soil but my memories of Paris will last forever. And provide plenty of stories, experiences and photos for you to enjoy as well.
Everything about Paris is a reason to write – I can see why so many of the greats made it their home base and why penning your memoirs in a Parisian cafe holds such appeal. I can’t say I have memoirs just yet but one day I hope I have had a life worth writing about, and one that I can remember in a Parisian cafe.
At 4.30am in the morning, while under the influence of jet lag, it is easy to remember the amazing moments of my trip. Shopping aside, there were laughs, our attempts at terrible French and the time people asked us for directions – how Parisian we must have looked!
But my favourite moments also include those on my own – reading fashion glossies in the park and people watching, eating at a fabulous cafe without the prop of a phone or a magazine and simply being able to enjoy a meal and a glass of champagne and watch the world go by.
The Eiffel Tower at night; the magnificence of the architecture of every single Parisian building; the smell of spring and cigarette smoke and coffee; the sight of a well dressed girl waiting for the bus.
These and more are my Paris memories.

Please don’t let this be your last Paris-inspired blog post. I have so looked forward to reading almost a blog post per day simply to live vicariously through your French adventures. Your trip and beautiful photos have inspired me!
I tend to agree, it is mostly always those stolen moments of people watching in a different city that are the most memorable, and the most wonderful, aspects of traveling. And Paris, well, where else is there a city as pretty or romantic as she is, in which to simply absorb the same pretty atmosphere and feel right at home?
I bet you are planning your next trip back there already!
