Further to the awesomeness that is Melbourne in Summer, this first week of February sees QV launch its 6th concert series to be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday though the balmy afternoons and evenings of the shortest month of the year.

Taking place in QV Square, surrounded by bars, restaurants and shopping, the area will be transformed into a summertime oasis complete with grass, beanbags and a cruisy vibe, making it the perfect spot for relaxing night or lazy afternoons.

Zoophyte

First up on the QV calender is local band Zoophyte, featuring Andy Lee, followed in the coming days and weeks by Deborah Conway, Nick Barker, Loon Lake, Jade MacCrae, Red Ink, Bonnie Anderson, Ronit, the Fauves, the Seabellies, The New RAah Trio, Mahalia Barnes, Nick Barker and the Blackeyed Susans.

The QV Summer Concert Series will be held every Friday from 5.30pm-7.30pm and Saturday and Sundays from 2pm until 4pm during the month or February (from Friday February 3 to Sunday, February 26) and is totally free.
