You may have heard the rumors. You may have felt the excitement. I am going to Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, May 3 to 7, in Sydney, Australia. I will be there as a volunteer, working as an usher at the onsite venue for the whole week – which means access to shows I would never to get to see as a member of the public, or even as a small time fashion blogger.

The flights are booked, the accomodation is secured and fellow vollie Jen (Twitter: @lookitsjennie) and I are making our plans to rock the Sydney fashion scene. One week to go!

Sarah, Hope you have fun volunteering, it can be a very long week, but from my experience last year well worth it.
You’ll probably get to see more shows than some industry peeps, including myself. I think I did roughly two shows a shift – includes bump in and out of each show and showtime.
This will be my first year as a delegate and still not a hundred percent sure how the whole thing works as far as designers & pr’s picking who gets the invites to the hundred odd seats.More in the OPT. I still get to see at least seven shows across the week. All the best x K
