Sail Away

This year I went to Flemington for Spring Racing for this first time. To Werribee for the Polo for the first time. And next week I will head to Sandringham for the sailing. For the first time.

It seems sailing is the new fashion sport du jour – and you can be a part of it.

The ISAF Sailing World Cup, Sail Melbourne, this year has a big focus on fashion and
lifestyle. Running from 13-18 December at Sandringham Yacht Club, Sail Melbourne brings
together the finest sailors from across the globe. The event encapsulates the glamour and excitement synonymous with the world of sailing.

How could I say no? And how can you be there?

Ladies from across the globe will soak up the glitz and glamour of the sailing lifestyle with the event’s official Ladies Day, on Wednesday 15 December. As the sailing elite takes to the water, guests will be invited to sit back and enjoy the sumptuous food, wine and fashion and a
host of entertainment all set to the spectacular backdrop of Port Phillip Bay.

Ladies will receive gorgeous gift bags and have the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes. Amongst all the glamour on Ladies Day there is a serious purpose, with money raised going towards the important work of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). Celebrity stylist and fashion personality Amber Renae will MC at the event, and “face of the event” television presenter Klara Lisy will also be in attendance.

As a fashionista and Melbournite, I feel it’s my duty to be at this event. It’s totally up your alley too.
